          The main outcome of using roof gardens is getting fresh vegetables by your own. And also we can reduce the heat of body of our home. Roof gardens are mostly used in the urban areas like cities and towns. Plants have the ability to absorb heat from the body of the building. These heat is by means of heat from the solar radiation. This will helps to reduce the heat of the buildings. This is why many corporate company buildings are used to have their garden on the roof.

IMPORTANT STEPS TO CONSTRUCT A ROOF GARDEN:

·  Prepping your roof – Evaluate your roof loading capacity that how much weight can your roof can support.


   Check your building codes – You should check your municipality codes whether your area is allowable to construct a roof garden.


·  Notice your building’s sunlight exposure – Your plants must need 6 to 8 hours of sunlight. So, check it for a while( 2 to 3 weeks).


·     Notice also wind exposure – usually the wind exposure is high in the roof of a building, so you have to place your plants in the low air exposure area.


·     Make your own design – You can make your own model to design your roof. This will help you to arrange easily and make the roof in a beautiful way.


·       Choose your plants – Due to high wind exposure, it will get easily drought. So you have to choose your plants with drought resistant. Buy the plants which are local in your area, this will lead to easy growth.


    You have to place the large plants in a stable containers and also placed down.

·       You should use only the plastic or wooden pots to place the plants.


 Then seed your seeds and put some pest-resistant.

 And decorate your garden by your own designing knowledge.
